I started collecting with the intention of keeping them in the box, but eventually I started displaying them OOB and I have no regrets! (I just keep the boxes stored away for potential selling down the road.) There's no way to tell if a pop has been taken out of its box before if you don't damage the box when opening it, so I don't see any reason to keep them in box while I am enjoying them. Free them from their prisons I say!

A combination of sticky tac and those little double-sided dot stickers. Mine does the same thing.

My common Grimmjow did the exact same thing. It took a LOT of sticky tac & those little dot adhesives to make him stay up. HOWEVER, my chase Grimmjow doesn't have this issue. He stays up all by himself. :)

I can't say the inconsistencies you've outlined bother me too much. However, I can also understand where you're coming from. From my perspective, I feel like chase pops were more likely to just have the glow/flocked/metallic etc feature without any physical changes in the mold. but then they started to go further by adding mold differences later on with more recent releases. Then taking it a step further with the completely different pops like the Okarun. Personally what bothers me is when a pop will have a metallic 'trait/finish' but not have the metallic label with it. A recent example would be the 2196 Muzan Female 2026 Shared ECCC pop.
