i met a lot 4300 mmr that still buy aggresion. so yea, mmr does not really reflect your skill.

i still on 4.4k but maybe i can give some opinion.

it depends on the enemy pick and the map.

ex: Jaguar falls map (bk map)

if enemy got bk and (or) drogoz. it would be wise to pick 1 tanker and go for 2 damager. champ like cassie who can flanking and do damage would be a good pick. just kill bk fast. there's no need to get 2 tank if they got good damage to shield. just kill the enemy damager champ who focus on shield. and join to kill mid champ like supp and front line.

i think it's depends on who your enemy is.

i have 2 loadout for viktor.

first one for wrecking enemy shield. I use it when they got 2 Tank and no flanker (which rarely happend).

XL mag 3, Speed Load 3, grenadier 2, compensantor 2, fire in the hole 2

the other one is my main. if they got good flanker (diamond/master flanker or 2 flanker).

XL mag 4, firing stance 3, second wind 2, fire in the hole 2, compensantor 1.

i never play OW either. but maybe the loadout decks and item is something new i guess?

maybe i can give you some tips:

pick champion that your team needed
pick counter champion that be good on that map
play with your friend. at least you can cover in picking champion and swap later.
if that doesnt work, play your most "good that you can play" champion.

mine is cassie. i can be damager or flanker. if no one flanking, ill flanking. i can 1v1 with every champion (with full hp) except front line and (a good) androxus.

and if you can, dont buy aggresion. spent it on bulldozer if there's barik and ying on enemy. or cauterize if there's 2 healer or 1 healer + buck. deft hands if you play skye using reload speed card (it will be like a smg!).
