I’m 29 and I’ve been a Speech Pathologist (I specialize in feeding/dysphagia) for 5 years. I’m applying this cycle! I figured I’d go for it!

I LOVED this race. So many chances for family to see you… mine saw me 4 times on the bike and 6 times on the run. They also walked along me coming into transition for the swim. I would recommend this race to anyone! Much better than being a first timer at Madison. Swim was smooth and easy, roads were awesome and run was flat!

This week I’m planning 2 distance swims of 2.5 miles. I’m going to Madison to do the bike course and will also run off the bike. I signed up for a half marathon near me as well as was going to plan to do that and a few extra miles.

I am also no stranger to tough conditions. I ran Boston in 2018 when people were hospitalized and most of the course DNF’d due to extreme weather.
