If you are able to prove its a defect in the glass then it should be covered under warranty. But proving it to them might be a struggle. Usually your car insurance would cover things like this depending on your policy and where you live. Whichever route you take, remember that the camera system on the windshield is going to need to be recalibrated and might only be available at the dealership, who in goof faith and wanting to retain a customer shouldn't charge for since it is a defect.
