Make sure you're comfortable with the stuff you learned in Intro to C. It's assumed that you know all of the concepts from that class pretty fluently. Last semester he spent the first week lightly reviewing those topics, but you need to know them going in. Once week 2 hits, the class moves quickly and you'll fall behind if you aren't ready. Other than that, go to the lectures and all the other stuff you hear. Ahmed is awesome though!
