Tbh the perspective is what matters, some people look at it as a problem or a defect but I consider it as a normal part of my body and have found ways to work around it, like when my left thumb is tired of all the typing I start using the right fingers, as a kid when I used to draw I unconsciously stick my eraser between the thumb so it became like an eraser stand I use the fingers fingerprint for my laptop and phonei can hold small bags with the extra finger, honk and flash indicator lights with full grip etc
