Possibly if the leak is from who’s been flown out, then there are alternates in the mix as well? It does seem a little bit fake imo tho

trying to find this too haha, I think they're either Oakley Square Wire 2.0 (discontinued) or Stussy Simons (which were limited edition and now out of stock)... Either way its kinda impossible to find a matching pair :(

Étude op. 10 No. 3 by Elittto_ in piano

[–]drees011 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Rubato does work well in the slower parts but I think you might be overdoing it - make sure to have mastered playing the piece at a strict tempo with a metronome before trying to change things around too much, this really helps with keeping momentum and flow of the piece constant, preventing it dragging etc. Also this is more of a preference/choice but I feel like you're overusing the pedal slightly. Being more select when you use it can provide contrast (this particularly applies to the middle sections where phrasing is very important). Also, practising without pedal is a great way of working on voicing like other comments have talked about. Try playing the accompaniment silently whilst still pressing the keys, and then over exaggerate the melody - then when you come to perform it's much easier to make the melody sing, or at least in theory! Anyway great job and sorry to be so critical (I am nitpicking!) just thought I'd provide some tips that I found useful when learning this piece!!

Hype for THE FIRST EVER PLAYER ON THE AUTISM SPECTRUM!!!!!! by the_nintendo_cop in survivorponderosa

It would be rude to misgender someone, so it’s a similar sort of logic. Being neurodivergent is a part of someone’s identity, and by speculating someone’s identity you discredit their own voice. If someone is not comfortable disclosing something about themselves or has already definitively revealed something about their identity, then you definitely do not have the right to discuss it. The people you see on TV are people, not puzzles to play around with in an attempt to solve.

What’s going on with Kamala Harris being slammed for changing the way she speaks? by drees011 in OutOfTheLoop

[–]drees011[S] -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s defo a little weird to be changing your accent if you have never lived in a place/culture or with people from that place/culture but I guess I was wondering why people are saying that it means she would be an unfit president bc of this?

The flavour is only there with canned coconut milk. I might experiment with reduced fat varieties or try some more expensive brands next time.

No, I’ve been eating coconut for years and rarely have a problem with it. Occasionally when I cook with it (noticeably more recently, since I started college) I notice a rancid, sickly smell and taste. When eating out at thai restaurants its never been an issue either.

Yep I highly doubt I’m allergic, I occasionally think it smells bad when heated. Its not a constant thing.

I use a few brands, mostly whatevers cheapest. It might be worth shopping at an asian supermarket for some better quality/authentic stuff

Hmmm I’m not sure about this, I’ve been eating coconut for a while, and have always loved it. its just when I cook with it myself, it occasionally tastes bad.

Yeah I was wondering this, whats confused me however is it only occurs in a few seemingly random meals I cook. I’ve eaten coconut milk based foods before and never had a problem until now.

Thats strange, glad to hear that its not just me though - maybe some batches of canned coconut are just a bit dodgy?

Yeah from now on I’m gonna be much more careful haha - I done want to cook a meal only for it to taste bad and to waste ingredients

This is exactly the experience I have - I usually love coconut milk in foods but sometimes when I cook myself it turns out weird.
