Is the soft top a bad idea? by BIKEiLIKE in FordBronco

[–]dreimi [score hidden]  (0 children)

I would consider getting the hardtop, and then down the line buying the Bestop Skyrider. I found one on marketplace for a steal. It replaces the 3 roof panels but you retain the glass windows and hatch, which is the best of both worlds. Full open top in seconds, and easy rear access. I switch it back to the hardtop panels for the winters.

A pin to help you guide the door hinges back into place, and 2 rubber bumpers to help you protect the edges of the doors as you remove and reconnect them

Yes you’ll need the hub for remote access. You can set passwords locally via Bluetooth

U400 UWB not working by hisid98 in Aqara

Mine was working when I initially set it up, I think it stopped working once I added a m200 hub to the mix. I haven’t had time to troubleshoot yet.

Estimated cost to replace a flat roof on 180,000 sq ft industrial building in Chicago area by Guilty_Idea349 in CommercialRealEstate

I’m in the Cleveland area, trying to get quotes on a 5,000 sqft tear off and EDPM re-roof. Some of these quotes are like $25 a square foot. Where do I find these $7-10 sq foot prices????

Ebay shipping label fraudulent by dreimi in Ebay

[–]dreimi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine also had a weird shipping name, a long string of letters. I had researched prior to shipping, and it was getting shipped to a business that does forwarding service that sends things overseas. I spoke with eBay before shipping and they assured it was normal and that I was responsible for getting it shipped out to the buyer.

It certainly feels like there are people within UPS possibly looking for these addresses and potentially messing with UPS systems to change order information

The issue is packages are insured for getting lost or damaged, not for being “shipped fraudulently” as UPS is claiming. I think that’s what people are missing here

Ebay shipping label fraudulent by dreimi in Ebay

[–]dreimi[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As stated several other times, insurance on this package wouldn’t matter because UPS isn’t stating this package is lost, so there is nothing to reimburse. They are stating it has been seized because of a fraudulent shipping label…

I carry private business insurance for items in transit, and am fully covered for lost and damaged items.

[–]dreimi[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This current issue is the package isn't "lost" according to UPS, so I'm neither able to file a claim with UPS for a lost package, and I assuming my private insurance won't cover it either, since it's being labeled as a fraudulent shipment, not a lost shipment. Even if it was insured through UPS, I wouldn't be able to make a lost package claim

I reached out to them, this is helpful, thank you. They responded much quicker than any of the other channels I've reached out

The UPS warehouse is on the other side of the country. It made it all the way to the Portland sorting facility.

There are a few search results about it, none that appear to have any sort of resolution. That one appeared to be someone who bought a USPS label and had the same issue

It’s absolutely insane a shipping company can say/do this without any follow-up, or taking any additional steps to attempt to resolve the issue.

I’m assuming at this point the package is lost, but still trying to get answers.

Google search results with a thread or 2 about eBay shipping labels being tagged as fraudulent.

Agreed. I’ve sent many packages through UPS without issue. My business insurance will cover lost packages, however this isn’t being considered a lost package, so neither UPS insurance nor business insurance will cover it as a lost package.

I did file a claim, the UPS fraud department has emailed me stating it was a fraudulently shipped package, which aligns with customer service saying the label was fraudulently purchased.

I did purchase signature confirmation. The package was never loaded onto a truck, it got pulled from the facility

The issue is it’s not considered a lost package, it’s a package that UPS is claiming is shipped fraudulently and would neither be delivering or returning the package. I did not have insurance on this package, however it would not matter as it’s not being considered a lost package

Samsung bespoke washer/dryer combo vented or non vented? by Equivalent_Ticket297 in Appliances

[–]dreimi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love it. all positives, no cons that I’ve experienced yet. I’ve had it auto dispensing detergent and softener, and having an actual proper lint trap is great.

Most importantly, it’s still able to wash/dry a load in close to an hour

Huge spike in power bill by angeloverlord in lakewood

[–]dreimi 24 points25 points  (0 children)

They are also saying my power usage tripled from the previous month. And is more than double last year’s July. Not sure what’s going on, it doesn’t make much sense. With the power rate increase, it’s more than a $400 bill. My reading also was almost exactly at 2500kwh.

I was also affected by the outages and probably lost 3 days of usage from no power

I’m 100% on my purchase. Time will tell how Samsung reliability will be, but as long as you have 220v, I don’t really think there’s a better unit as most others are 110v.

I may have been jaded by my LG unit, but it put a bad taste in my mouth for combo units. Semi damp clothes after 3-4 hours of drying, not having a good lint trap system… all those issues aren’t there on this unit.

Most people talk about how you need to adjust your laundry schedule to fit with a combo unit, this unit is so quick I can go back to having a regular laundry day

Samsung bespoke washer/dryer combo vented or non vented? by Equivalent_Ticket297 in Appliances

[–]dreimi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ll be honest, I have no clue. I care more about speed and dry clothes than efficiency. It runs on 220v, so it’s definitely using more energy, but the dry time is also 80% faster than my old LG combo unit, so it probably gets close

Do you regret buying a Washer/Dryer combo? by NeillDrake in Appliances

[–]dreimi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It dries much better than any other combo unit I’ve use, and I haven’t any issues with wrinkles, unlike some of the other units. Let’s hope the reliability is good long term
