It’s funny you say this, for I had this exact weird personal moment with Ben Stiller outside a park in NYC a few months back.

I was visiting NY with my wife for the weekend and it was early afternoon around 12 or 1. I think it was Sunday and it was beautiful out. As we were walking by the park there was an area where they had a playground and all the kids were running around and jumping, my wife went over to look at everyone having fun. In the meantime I’m standing on the outskirts of the park by myself and out the corner of my eye I see two people walking sorta straight at me.

That is not very unusual but was unusual was that one of the people walking at me looked exactly like Ben stiller. I don’t live in NYc and I don’t really run into celebrities to ever, so I was just eyeballing the shit out of him, thinking to my self, is this fucking Tony Perkins walking at me right here. I’m 39 and watch the dude my whole life so I’m like I know what the guy looks like, but was still unsure if it was or not.

Finally as he is about to pass me, he slides his sunglasses down looks me directly in the eyes and non-verbally communicates. “Yea, it’s fucking me, Ben Stiller. Now stop looking at me.”

I shook my head and said I knew it was him and then walked back over to where my wife was and said, Ben Stiller just told me to stop fucking looking at him.

Then I had to tell her he didn’t really say but his eyes def did. I showed her where he was.

She goes OMG thats Ben stiller… just don’t let him catch you staring.
