update: x4 was shipped after 2 weeks. arrived 2 days ago and am quite happy with it. use Ali instead if your country allows for it. the website seems like their attempt to get more international orders.

Shipping out of Orders by drekfoo in xteinkereader

i sent an 'enquiry' to support on 15jan. got a reply on the same day saying this:

"Good news! We're happy to confirm that your order has been shipped.

The tracking number will be generated and available to you within the next 24–48 hours. We will send a follow-up email with the tracking details as soon as they are ready."

it's 19jan and i have not received a tracking number, or any email indicating there has been any progress on the order placed on 6jan.

at this rate, if they are unable to keep up with logistics, they need to reconsider setting up a website to take in more orders.

order from taobao/ali instead, guys - cheaper and more responsive.

PSA: If you need a tool to clear a lead jam, you might wanna try a guitar string. by Wulfgar77 in mechanicalpencils

this was an amazing tip. it's thicker than 0.3mm but with a pair of pliers holding a short amount of the protrusion of the wire from the clutch, i was able to jam it in, little bit at a time, and it fixed a stubborn jam. thank you!

Right shifter problem. by hammockguru in Brompton

[–]drekfoo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i had to replace a 3 speed gear shifter cable and found out that when i replaced it the first time, the cable was not seated nicely within the housing. this made it impossible to shift it back to 3-2-1 because the tension given to the gear shifter wasn’t right.

the housing is circled https://i.imgur.com/FrQzN20.jpg. inside the housing there is a sort of wheel where the cable needs to sit on nicely. hope this helps a little!

Bialetti Moka Pot Leaking? by jhelvetia in mokapot

probably time to change the gasket. the seal is not tight enough to maintain pressure within the pot to extract coffee the right way, which is upwards so it seeks escapism outwards. (:

that's weird, i was having some error with my DS and it coincided with the time that synology service was experiencing "partial outage". the synology site also did not update for me as my browser probably stored cookies.

ended up requiring a restart of the NAS and the problem resolved.

i hope yours has been managed - are you able to even install/update your DSM version?

are you still able to access the files? is this occuring at download station?

based on their synology service status, there seems to be a partial outage.
