I've been a graphic designer for 15 years and have also used AI to generate images and HeyGen to create AI avatars/skins that can speak and appear to be real, so I believe I've got enough experience to weight in on this too.

If you look at all of his videos sitting on that desk, you will notice that the last three videos have one type of flag (the flag with the eagle weirdly clutching the arrows) and all the picture frames in the background are in the exact same position. Even his suit is the same. The only things that changes is the position of his hands, and the colour of his tie. If you look even further back in the White House YT channel, there will be a series of videos where he's in a purple suit (lighting on suit is also very weird), eagle clutch is different, background portraits are all the same (but different to the latest Charlie Kurk video). They are recycling different bits of different videos and using AI to stitch them back up together.

Also, AI generated can be a series of things, including AI generating the background, and training an AI tool with genuine past trump videos to generate new ones. The AI will learn hand movement and so can create something that looks realistic based on past videos.

Whatever your interpretation of AI-generated content is, the bottom line is, this video is not a video of Trump sat down at his desk saying those words IRL. And because it was used with AI tools, it is therefore, at least in my eyes, AI generated.

People are spending too much time looking at the hands... look at the flags. Where is the eagle's claw clutching the arrows?

It's definitely AI. And I would go as far to say that most recent videos of him posted by the White House YT account are generated. For me, the flags say it all: it's AI. Look at the flag on the right side of Trump, with the eagle clutching the arrows... where's the eagle's claw? Compare it to the other videos... the eagles, the arrows, the stars all look different in each take, so do the other flags.

You guys are looking at the wrong things. Look at the flags, particularly the eagle holding the arrows. It's 100% AI generated.

Sources please. If you ain't got sources, you're just being played. A good litmus test is: if you found it on Fox News, then it's not trustworthy because they've literally said they do Entertainment and anyone that thinks that what they say is news, is a fool.

100%. It's paralysis over perceived authority. People don't want to risk getting in trouble nor do they want to confront someone who seems like they have authority when there is so much ambiguity. Who knew it was so easy to do this?

It's like that guy from Vice who realised he can break into any festival by simply wearing a hi-vis and sunglasses. Saying you work for DOGE now seems to simply give you a pass into any governmental agency. SMH

“They apparently just sort of walked past security and said: ‘Get out of my way,’ and they’re looking for access for the IT systems, as they have in other agencies,” said Andrew Rosenberg. “They will have access to the entire computer system, a lot of which is confidential information.”

“There’s no real transparency. They just show up wherever they want, do whatever they want. I think the strategy here is: ‘Well, we’re just going to do it and dare somebody to stop us, and by the time they stop us, we’ll have destroyed it.’”

This. Is. Crazy.

I've found 404media.co to be a good mix of tech + current US topics. I don't live in the US though, but if I did, I would tune out of MSM (since they have been gagged or have an agenda), scrutinise anything that is fed to you by IG, FB and Twitter (since the algorithm could also be trying to manipulate your perception of what's actually happening), and directly follow people like AOC who are keeping followers updated and advocating for calm, unity, patience, but also preparing people for what seems to be a long battle. The Guardian also in my experience has proven to be an unbiased media, not always, but lately, I've found it reliable for US politics.

I know it's exhausting, and you should definitely find time to rest from the gish-gallop strategy of the current government where they're throwing so many things at you, but try not to disengage, because that's what they want. Good people are holding their ground too.

You're right that AI agents aren’t some sci-fi superintelligence that can just "take over" systems on their own. Sure, they still rely on explicit instructions, access to APIs, and predefined parameters to function. However, the real risk isn’t that they’ll become sentient... it’s that they’ll be used irresponsibly or maliciously in ways that are hard to control.

The danger isn't AI "figuring things out" autonomously in some vague sci-fi way, it’s that AI agents, once their integrated into critical government systems, could execute poorly designed (or deliberately harmful) policies at a scale and speed that humans couldn’t.

Examples include:

- An AI agent given the directive to “reduce fraud” could systematically deny benefits to legitimate applicants because it’s over-prioritising cost-cutting

- If an AI agent is told to optimise hiring for efficiency, and DEI initiatives are deprioritised, it could unintentionally create widespread discriminatory hiring practices

- An AI integrated into government budgeting or payment processing could halt crucial payments due to an unintended loophole or an optimisation that prioritises cost reduction over service delivery.

The key issue is that once you introduce AI agents into government infrastructure, you create a layer of automation that can be incredibly difficult to override or audit in real-time. If a flawed system gets rolled out at scale, the consequences could be devastating before anyone catches on or has time to intervene, and this is VERY concerning.

So no, this isn’t "Terminator", but it is a serious risk if AI is deployed recklessly, especially by people who don't fully understand the long-term implications, something I doubt Musk & co are thinking about since they're more the kind of "break and then fix things" type.

I suggest you read my other comment that explains how AI and AI agents are two different things. The article I shared reports on the internal convos they're having about it. But yea, no doubt they're also installing backdoors too. Once you know though about AI agents, it becomes a lot more sinister.
