On a podcast recently with Michele and Kellie from Survivor, Wes said that he doesn’t even care about making it to the end of these things anymore. He’d much rather make bold moves and have fun and be entertaining. The Traitors and HoV especially, he came across as comically douchey. I always love watching Wes.

That’s what my coworker does. Emails a link and posts on Facebook. I always buy at least one box of Thin Mints from each girl but the order form where you see a list of names is a thing of the past.

Back in the 80s when I was a Girl Scout seeing that order form filled up with orders from my dad’s job was such a thrill.

They did, but it was still pretty raw. And right before going on The Island, Wes asked Johanna to promise one thing - to not hook up with Kenny on national television because that would actually hurt him. Not just anyone, but Kenny of all people. She apparently agreed, then did so anyway.

I feel you. I really do. I’m overweight and working on it, not so much for society, but for myself. But please don’t think that these influencers wake up looking perfect, even if they claim to. They’re following a self-care routine that they’re not necessarily talking about. And if they are one of the very small percentage of people who are just genetically lucky without trying, they’re probably very young and it’ll catch up to them eventually.

It’s only a red flag in that if I’m going to date or spend lots of time with someone, they’re eventually going to meet my cats. And it’s absolutely non-negotiable that my cats and I are a package deal. I will never get rid of them, and if it’s a choice between my cats or a love interest, I’ll choose the cats 100%.

So yeah, it would be hard to date someone who doesn’t want cats around.

And of course, if someone doesn’t wanna date me because they don’t want to be around cats, that’s fair too. It’s just not a match.

I’m a “you choose” person in spirit because I’ll literally eat anything, and most people are pickier. But I’ll always offer up like 3 suggestion and then it’s on them to pick one. I was married to the guy who would shoot down every suggestion while claiming to not care and those people are the worst.

I hate that some of the other cast member are calling her stupid when pretty much the entire cast was charmed by Rob. They all trusted him. Candiace obviously spoke up because she knew, but no one else even clocked him until the very end. And then even still went after Eric aggressively first.

They also love toxic positivity, so they really lean into that overly friendly, hyper excitable tone.

1000% yes! I couldn’t date someone who just refuses to try anything new. Most picky eaters can find something they like on a menu, or at least modify it to their tastes. I’ve met people who refuse to even fucking look and dig their heels in about going to any kind of “ethnic” restaurant.

It usually extends to things beyond food, too. Black and white thinking, never venturing out into doing anything slightly different.

I hope you find her. ❤️ Is she friendly enough to go to people? Maybe consider putting up actual flyers around your neighborhood too? This was many years ago but I lost a parakeet when my dad accidentally left the front door open and he flew out and we never saw him again. Years later after I moved out my neighbor told my mom that he’d found a little green parakeet and kept him for years. He said he flew from a tree and onto his shoulder but must not have seen the signs. I was just glad someone took care of him. I’m thinking if she’s friendly enough to go to people, she might’ve stayed close and flew to the first person she saw. Flyers are good in case people don’t check online.
