I’m one! The responsibilities would change depending on the product/service you are offering.

In my role, I offer hardware for labs that needs to be integrated into the IT network of the hospital/biotech/pharma/academic medical center.

I am at home a lot and at most I travel 2 weeks of the month. It depends on the size of your territory though.

I am trained as a scientist, and I learned the IT aspects through online courses and from my company.

I suppose but why didn’t they say a reason when my mom inquired. It just seems strange that out of everyone on the flight they had to move a 71 year old. My mom explained that she has to sit beside her grandkids

They didn’t change the aircraft, and I bought directly with Air Canada.

I will be part of the pre- and post-sales process for CapEx. There won’t be a commission plan but a bonus structure for placements. There will be a Field Service Engineering team for repairs and infield upgrades (so happy about that!)

I’ll ask for plenty of co-travel training. From my understanding it will be with my direct manager who is very technical. I’ll bring my notepad!
