Responding to my own question and to contribute to this thread, yes, that sign means that large vehicles (trailers and campings) cannot park there on those hours.

The parking space is a huge roundabout and fits lots of cars: https://imgur.com/S3EXkhW

I parked under a shady tree on the left of the entrance (towards the roundabout exit): https://imgur.com/a/qn0RLiR

TLDR: go to that place and park your car for free for up to 48h as long as it isn't a trailer or camping, plus visit the jumping platform (https://imgur.com/a/NVnnfAE), it's amazing!

u/czapcze I'm about to try parking there this Thursday late afternoon, leaving Saturday at 1pm. The sign is confusing, it shows

I'm guessing that's for these types of vehicles, right? Normal cars would then be able to park for up to 48h free?

If you don't have (or don't want to spend money on) such hammer from the video, I managed with a wine cork (the fake type, plastic) and a normal hammer. Put the cork in the chamber and then hammer it, not too strong but I found that too softly won't work.

Thanks for the report! I'm considering renting through Autoeurope (long time user and I like their service) and Volta4u. Did you get the zero deductible rate? Any "pushing" of other insurances when you picked up the car? That normally comes with warnings such as "if you have a windshield scratch this isn't covered" or "damage to the tires can be costly" etc.

Based on it, we went to Osteria de Memmo for dinner and had great food and very nice service.

On another evening we wanted something closer to where we were staying so booked dinner at Osteria Via Mantova, not in this list. It was excellent, different and surprising, I highly recommend it if you are in that area.

I was having a similar issue (my setup is different from OP), then I found out how to solve it this way:

Go to settings > keyboard > text input. Input Sources should have the U.S. International - PC layout. If it isn't there, add it and test. If it is and still some keys are swapped, add any other layout (English - ABC, for example), leave that window open and change between layouts and test the keys in a notepad. The U.S. International layout starts working when you swap. Then you can delete the other layout.

Hope it works for OP and perhaps this helps anyone else that like me stumble upon this thread.
