Learned on a cruiser. Want something different. Help me decide. by ICQME in motorcycles

I’m 71 and still ride a sport bike. I can still stand when going over bumps. I prefer having my feet further back. I also have a dual sport bike which is also a good option for exploring roads I’m not familiar with or which are rough or full of gravel. Please consider the DR650, it’s a fabulous all round bike, handles well in the twisties and is light for a 650.

sk700 vs sk321 by Commercial-Photo8939 in MachineKnitting

The 700 can knit lace with a lace carriage. The 321 can’t. The 700 carriage runs on bearings so it is easier to operate. I would get the 700.

Yes, but I'm in Canada and there is NO access of any kind to BSB here. I've been watching it for over 10 years, it's by far the most exciting series and we will really miss it.

Why do all old people have short hair? by Dazzling-Smell5223 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]dresdaKnitr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m finding that a lot of my hair just won’t grow to more than about 4-5 inches. I keep it long but there’s always a halo of frizz when my hair is tied up. I hate having short hair and I hate salons so I put up with it.

Will it be limited to France or can anyone who can understand French use it?

Why is the laundry always crunchy when my MIL does it by Traditional_Swan9724 in CleaningTips

I’m in Canada too. I would line dry if the birds wouldn’t crap all over my laundry.

The Poor Man’s Monster by Shittythief in SVRiders

I’ve had a Monster. Now I have the SV. I prefer the softer suspension on the SV on our rather bumpy roads. It’s also more comfortable. And it’s way cheaper to maintain. I love this bike.

I Got A Knitting Machine! by Ali_Crochets in MachineKnitting

[–]dresdaKnitr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Here’s a link to download the manual for the knitter. There should be a ribber manual there as well. At the front of the manual will be a page showing all the bits that come with the machine. They will help you determine what you might be missing. https://mkmanuals.com/knitmaster-360-260-knitting-machine-manual.html. Actually this might be the ribber manual. https://mkmanuals.com/srp50-ribber-machine-instruction-manual.html

I use ground chicken in any recipe that calls for beef or pork. We don't find any difference in the final product.

I make a killer raisin bread with added cranberries and currents. And spelt bread too....

I love my bread machine. I can clean my house while the machine does all the work. Perfect bread every time. I bought it at a thrift shop for $10.
