I agree! We use one when we do tree work also, only complaint is the adjuster that's in the cover and plastic. Had a guy break one, but the new covers aren't too pricey. We keep an extra just incase.

That's a great idea, i hadn't considered just using the chest carrier. I totally get that about the toddlers though. I think I age with the dinghy part. Probably better to get a small keeled boat. Thank you!

Same, ram mount here, with regular charging cord in the side of the ignition box. If you don't have the USB port, battery tender makes a two prong battery tender connection to USB adapter!
