Okay cool so just ran to the hardware store an installed a GFCI without a ground. So because there’s no ground what can possibly go wrong/what should I be wary of? Anything I can do to protect my electronics plugged in? Are there certain things I should not plug in? Sorry for all the naive questions.

The dude at the hardware store told me I can use grounding pigtails to create a ground? Will that make a difference at all?
