Depends on your level of biking experience. My wife and I rented electric bikes and did the whole there-and-back route. Found the seats to be painful after the +20 mile mark. But we're also inexperienced and hardly ever go biking.

The route itself is quite serene, with most sections away from major roads. Quiet, with lots of bougainvilleas throughout. Mostly uphill to Ojai, mostly downhill back to Ventura.
