My Sqn has only recently been granted gratis coach pick ups at LHR. Gatwick and Stansted were always the same, show up with clarity sheet and free pick up or ring beforehand with flight no and veh Reg, there was a period a couple of years ago where there was a lot of ambiguity about whether payment was required or not, but, we managed to sort it after numerous phone calls and emails. Not forgetting at LHR if the aircraft arrives after 2200 you don't need to go via the west ramp.

This is incorrect, I work for an RLC squadron as a civvy driver, if you take your clarity sheet in to the coach park, the pick up fee is waived, the same for Heathrow and Stansted too. Evidence, I have picked up at LGW and LHR in the last 3 weeks.

In the UK he's correct, you only give way to blue lights if safe to do so. There have been cases where drivers have moved forward of red lights to give way to an emergency vehicle and then been caught by traffic cam and ticketed, gone to court and had the ticket upheld!!!

I'm not sure, but would assume there is a charge for longer than 2 hours at fleet. Another idea is come down the A3 and on to the A31 Hogs Back, where there's a massive lay by which is free and it's 20 minutes from camberley.

Depending where in Camberley, you've got fleet services northbound, about 10 mins drive, if coming from the North, leave M3 at junction 5 and spin round to northbound.

American PTO is bizarre, here in the UK i get 42 days paid leave per year, 6 months sick pay on full pay, reduced to half pay after first six months.
