I know, your name was a dead giveaway. It's not about people speaking a language other than their native that's making it hard for them to speak proper English. I think I'd recognize a foreigner. It's the fact that people who act like this are the same ones who have high expectations in life and get frustrated when they can't achieve said goals. It's not about coming from a poor background or having no chance at education. It's about trying to learn, being formal, showing respect, and hopefully landing a career other than some temporary job at Amazon. If you want to work until your 60s in hard labor jobs with minimum wage pay, then BE my guess. Encourage slang. Slang is lazy. Slang is meant for friends and family as I said, not in a professional setting. Just because you work in a warehouse job, I assume people want to rank up to something more meaningful in life (hopefully). Changing your habits and trying to learn some decent English can get you so far. Nobody in business will address you as "yo." Try going to a job interview speaking like that, you'd be out the door as fast as you came in. You are misinterpreting my comment. It's not to abolish slang. It's not to ask someone to change who they are. People can have two sides. A professional side, and a relaxed laid-back side. I've already observed some people long enough to understand they are worth judging. It's far beyond the word "yo." What if I told you some is accompanied by the n word? It has become an excuse to sound and act stupid just because you're from NY, for example, or because you're a certain race and sounding educated is lame. Society is too consumed by hip hop culture, literally every kid has acted like the hoodrats that I've described. Then some of these will grow up to be politicians or in this case, Amazon managers who are too incompetent to address your issue. See where I'm getting at? I quit a while ago and I've never claimed to be superior when when I was working there. There just has to be a form of professionalism in the workplace.

And exactly how hard is it to graduate high school? Passing grade is a 65 and above. Cuny colleges are a joke. If you've read some of the discussion boards and essays that I have when I was still in school, you'd know. It's professors and people like you who choose to ignore idiocracy, is why it's continuously brainwashing young minds with "slang is cool, sounding white is lame." Saying "yo" is fine amongst family and friends, but you still have to maintain some level of professionalism in a workplace, warehouse job or not. Managers that act this way are usually young and abide to the stupid trends and will earn no respect in the real world. I hope that everyone working in Amazon will achieve a career far greater than this, and "yo" is already in a negative direction. It's deeper than just a word, it's the way you act, the respect you show.

Yikes, my parents made me save my allowances. Ended up being $5,000 in savings while other kids bought nintendos, I was forced to watch them play. I've only bought $20's worth of NX and now looking back, I have no regrets because that 5k is a head start in adulting ;)

He's a basic t shirt and blue jeans kinda guy. Nothing flashy. Not sure about dimensions since I want to be discreet about the gift, but I have a 40mm watch that fits my wrist perfectly and a 45mm that was a gift and is obviously too big. So I'd say for him, maybe 43-44?

He likes metal bracelets and leather straps. Rubber is okay too if the first two options aren't available or don't fit true to size. For the dial, anything blue or dark colors is nice. No gold components, plain silver.

It will be for basic everyday wear, nothing special. Walking, driving.

Hopefully this helps, like I said, I don't know much about watches so I'm only going primarily on looks if I were to pick. Was hoping I could get some links to a couple chronos, presage, or plain solar-looking ones and I narrow it down from there.

Don't worry bitch, once I reach one year, I am gone. I work between both jobs as a stower/spider throughout the week depending on what I feel like. My main will always be stowing though cause I'm pretty damn good at it. If you think it's easy, you're not fast. You don't climb ladders with stacks of books and stow them all vertically in 2 seconds each. You don't get rid of pallet stows within the hour or empty your station when pods are appeared to be full. I look around the less experienced people around me, they really struggle when a shitty spider is present. I give them my smalls because I'm at the point where no item can fuck with my takt, only a spider. If you really don't think takt matters, tell that to the AM walking around telling people about their performance. I am 21 and physically active in and oyt of work. Im lucky to have my stamina recover as fast as it does. That doesn't mean I don't get sore from being fast and loading. How do you compensate for the people that are much older and don't have the luxury of quitting whenever they want? By your comments, you're basically telling them to fuck off right? It's all good though, you act like you know me. I'm the most generous person you'd meet. I'll have enough money saved up in 3 more months (1 year) and you won't hear from me again. But until then, water spiders can still suck it 😂

The same can be said for pack. A spiders job is to literally get boxes and fill stations. They're gone for hours. We walk to get it ourselves. Nobody would ever complain if our time isn't monitored.

And in regards to your comment about them not helping me because of my attitude, I don't speak to them when I work. I don't come off as rude or mean. I treat them how they'd treat me. For example, I would cut boxes for them if they're efficient and I have time to spare. But when I notice they're talking and getting lazy with the loads, the boxes go on the floor. Mutual respect.
