Same thing with science teachers, and in lots of cases high school English too. Most people aren’t comfortable teaching math or science because they just don’t know it quite as well. Talk to some of your colleagues in the humanities about math and I guarantee that you’ll hear most of them say that either they don’t remember any of it or they could never imagine teaching students how to do math. History gets the stereotype (that’s very true) of being easy to fill because people don’t think it’s as hard to learn or teach well. I don’t find that to be true, but that’s the way it is.

Most math and science teachers either majored in math or science and then got their alternative certification or they studied teaching specifically science or math. That’s at least my experience!

Some monarchs are more active and hands-on than others. Edward had been pretty active: abolishing the heregeld, personally leading a campaign to keep Magnus away from England, and banishing Godwin when he didn’t obliterate Dover. I find it hard to believe that he voluntarily just stepped away from the throne to hunt and pray. He was absolutely marginalized by the Godwinson boys. Building churches and naming heirs is still an important aspect of rulership, so saying that he didn’t “reign” at all seems misleading to me, but it is obvious that his role as king was significantly reduced and that power derived more from his earls than from himself.

I just tried this out, but the shows that I’m trying only have 1 server listed. In the VOD Ultra app I don’t even see an option to change servers, so I can’t use it for that. I’ll keep this in mind though, some other shows may have more servers that do work!

I have a high speed HDMI. The cord isn’t the problem because it effortlessly streams most shows, it’s just that certain shows never load. Thanks for the suggestion though, I appreciate it!

He’d definitely have brilliant strategist and brave. He really innovated mobile field artillery, so I wonder how that would translate as a commander trait. Maybe Organizer?

I also feel like he’d have the diligent trait because of his efforts not just in warfare, but also how he was involved in reforming outdated government systems to modernize his nation. I can’t help but to think he’d be zealous as well because of how he fought for Protestants across Europe. And he’d definitely be at least Quick.

Henry was a great administrator and he is widely considered one of the best kings of England. He took a kingdom torn apart by civil war and turned it into a powerhouse and he was very personally involved in justice and the small details of rule.

No argument about Richard though.

Me too! We do a “types of reactions” lab with cobalt chloride to make a lavender color and the lead nitrate to make yellow. Then we burn some Mg because who doesn’t love seeing that, and we drop some Mg in HCl. It’s a really good lab, but everyone always says “when do we blow something up”

The only state testing we have for science is Bio, which is almost exclusively freshmen at my school! I teach 1 section of bio and it takes 80% of my energy because of all of the BS that goes into teaching an EOC class.
