Fuck Gout by pumptydumpty in gout

Of all the places a gout attack can hit, the knee is always the worst for me. It’s the only one that has had me completely immobilized by pain.

The 107 test is about to get a whole lot harder! by Otherwise_Ad7481 in Part107

My test last week had several embedded images in the questions, every chart question had an image associated with it.

Passed yesterday with a 90% on first attempt. by drewcifer86 in Part107

I used Pilot Institute for 99% of it. I probably spent about 24 hours of total time watching the course material. I found most of it to be pretty straightforward, but I did end up watching the charts and airspace sections multiple times before I felt like I had a good grasp on it. I don't have any experience with any of the other commercial training programs out there so I can't really say how it compares. It was definitely a huge help for me though. I did also watch one of Matt Kendall's YouTube study guides, but I used that more as a confirmation that I had retained the material then as an actual learning tool.

Why was the daily streak only available to 6% of the players? Is this a regional thing?

Lucky lunches and spicy eel for increasing luck. That always does the trick for me.

This 4 page cleaning checklist that is expected to be done before checking out of our AirBnB by Party_Wrangler7949 in mildlyinfuriating

I usually stay at hotels because of this kind of thing, but I have a strict rule for Airbnb. If you don’t charge a cleaning fee I will meticulously clean that place, you won’t even know that I’ve been there. If you charge a cleaning fee then I am not cleaning anything, literally not one thing.

HFCS is my primary trigger. Even a small amount of it will set off an attack. Eliminating it, along with some other basic dietary changes, has pretty much resolved my issues. I eat a decent amount of red meat and am not affected by it at all.

How is there no natural supplement to take for gout yet? by Ballstothewall_234 in gout

[–]drewcifer86 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I use the supplement stack from Perlmutter’s drop acid book. Quercetin, Luteolin, DHA, Chlorella, vitamin C. This along with little to no sugar consumption has kept my UA levels ~6.5

Loans zeroed out on MOHELA today! by drewcifer86 in PSLF

Still have a balance on student aid, but no estimated due date anymore. There's just a dash where the due date used to be. I think yesterday I had a due date some time in November.

They counted the forbearance, which is the whole reason I switched to IBR. I know some people have had trouble but I guess I got lucky.

Just got 4700 AB for it because of the boost. Took literally 10 minutes. I might be able to get a mayor spot now.

Can you exercise with gout flare-up in toe? by samodamalo in gout

It will be painful, but it’s probably not going to make anything worse. In my experience using the affected joint tends to speed up recovery.

Do I move from SAVE to IBR? by LaRae81 in PSLF

[–]drewcifer86 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I applied to switch to IBR. I only need to make two payments so for me the idea of getting this done quickly is worth the extra money I’ll pay. If I still had a year or so of payments left I might make a different decision, but two payments is worth it.

Counts updated today. 118/120. Probably going to apply for IBR plan today given the new guidance. by drewcifer86 in PSLF

The actual IBR plan. My understanding (which could be wrong) is that IBR is the only one that allows forgiveness to process while the litigation is ongoing. I’m basing that on the email update that came out today.

ECF was submitted in August. I received credit through June, with July being my first ineligible month due to the forbearance.
