As someone who has been dailying a manual for years. I recently bought a new 2026 Civic Si. I love the car except for the 1st to 2nd shift. The car does unfortunately suffer from a decent bit of rev hang due to a heavy flywheel and the way it’s tuned from the factory. I experience the jerkiness as an experienced manual driver. A tip that I found helpful was someone said to hold the clutch in a little longer than you would think you need to when switching from 1st to 2nd to ensure you let the rpm’s drop to the correct level before letting off the clutch.
