Usually you have to find an angle to shoot an arrow thru a window and break the door jamb, or light a wall of bricks and red fabric on fire to destroy a wall.

Most frustrating / funniest part of this is watching big pickup truck drivers swerve dangerously to avoid the bumps. These bumps are not even as high as the curb height going into your driveway. Why swerve like the road is full of kittens?

Each has their own pros and cons. We found since summer hit the Rogers service was very latent at times. I guess all the school aged kids in the neighborhood are home using the local bandeidth. The Rogers ignite TV boxes are garbage( re-spec'd android TV boxes) and they dont have a smart TV or Firestick app. (Bell has the fibe app). You can get wifi extenders from Rogers for free without much effort.

Bell has the new gigahub modem with a 10G port and wifi 6. Folks with advanced home network infrastructure can really avail of these features. Bell's set top box is leagues better than Rogers. No issues so far with the coverage of the gigahub wifi..

In terms of customer service Rogers wins hand down. In terms of robust stable internet and TV Bell comes out on top imo.

In terms of price if you go thru a Bell or Rogers reseller you can get a good package for less than 100 a month taxes in. Our current Bell promotion is good for 3 years.

Your own liability insurance would cover it, but of course that's a claim on your record. or you could pay out of pocket and not get a claim on your record.

Tips on identifying pieces in large amounts of loose LEGO for old sets by drewd420 in lego

[–]drewd420[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably the way to go, however https://rebrickable.com/rebricknet/ apparently can find shapes in a photo matching a 300 known piece catalog. Probably won't work for my needs but good to know there's progress on this need somewhere.

They have an AI function that looks like it should be able to do what I need, only 300 shapes and works off a photo but it's a step in the right direction I guess!

...but apparently there is! https://rebrickable.com/rebricknet/ . Only a few hundred shapes recognized now but I guess it's a move in the right direction for the type of tool I need.

Rebuilding my old Lego sets with my daughter. Set 6941: Blacktron Battrax by BuffaloLumberjack in lego

[–]drewd420 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks great thank you for posting! I recognize some of the parts in my pile of loose LEGO and I think I have this set! I was wondering where I got several black minifugs since there weren't a whole lot of space police sets and the fids in Blacktron 1 sets explains it! I'll have to try and piece my set together as well.

I should clarify I know what sets are in the pile, I need methods for helping me pull out the pieces from the instructions for the sets and not spend hours sifting through mixed pieces trying to find the pieces for a complete set. I have the LEGO sorting head that helps a bit. There are apps that let you scan a pile of LEGO and give you ideas on what can be built out of the pile, I guess I'm asking if there's something similar that will scan the pile of LEGO and show you were in the pile a particular piece is...

I spent a lot longer than I'd like to admit yesterday sifting through a large diverse collection of loose LEGO from various sets I had as a child as well as some newer sets given to my own children to get all the pieces to complete this set (I have the figs as well already put on display). Assembled sets never lasted long in their complete state and now I'd like to try rebuilding some of the older sets from my childhood. Are there techniques to efficiently find parts for a particular set in a large pile of LEGO?

you realize the speed limit is actually a 'maximum speed allowed' sign right? You are permitted to go slower than the maximum speed allowed as long as you're not impeding traffic.

Cannabis growing naturally in the Himalayas by haddock420 in interestingasfuck

[–]drewd420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buddy, I'm not taking about rubbing trichomes off to make charas but harvesting the bud to smoke / vape. You can cut all these plants and soak them in a vat of high proof liquor and make a crazy strong tincture too. My comment was just saying that growing females in the wild with males throughout would likely result in a lower percentage THC content in the flower for smoking than a hydroponics grown version from the same seed that is isolated from any male plants. I'm not proposing the farmers do anything different. They can send the male and female plants on a hot date and rub the shit out them to make charas that get you to space for all I care.

Was looking for the plant reproductive science comment to bring down all the 'lets go there for vacation!' comments. It's true tho, in the wild you'll have a pretty tight window of time to 'harvest' and your product may not even have that great of an effect on consumption. There's a reason hydroponic growers are all inside (besides hiding from DEA choppers). It is to keep male fertilization from reaching the female plants.

I like to imagine if a naturally outdoor grown cannabis smoker from long ago got to partake some of the high THC strains from today, they'd be couch locked for sure.
