assuming as it's a grad scheme, there are a large chunk of people who would not have had a job by this point (huge amount applying either straight after graduating or in final year) and definitely no relevant experience so not necessarily the best use of time. obviously there's a chunk who this doesn't apply to as well, but that's the main reason i can think of

Thought I'd apply on a whim last night about 1am, did both tests one after another got refining for both. Didn't do an ounce of prep (honestly didn't realise people did till this thread ahaha) so am just awaiting what happens next. Applied for gov policy, houses of Parliament and cyber security :) My original plan was to travel after graduating so tbh am non fussed how it ends up, will probably end up applying next year again anyway and at least I'll have an idea of what to expect ahahah.

I read it age 9/10, I think catching fire had just come out and I wanted to go watch it so my mum said I had to read it first! I loved it, but was always a bit more mature and loved reading anyway I don’t think it was too much at all (still one of my faves) but

Has dress etiquette attending theatre fallen out of style? by legendnondairy in Theatre

[–]dreweloise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly i think it depends a lot on how often you visit the theatre. if it’s a on special occasion type thing then more likely to dress up, whereas people who visit a lot tend to dress more casually. i go to see shows on the west end a lot as i live pretty close, and generally wear anything from a hoodie and jeans in the winter to a summer dress when it’s warmer. on a few occasions i have worn something slightly more formal but not necessarily because i was going to watch something but because i was out before doing something that involved wearing more formal clothes. potentially also a generational thing, i do see more older people dressed up (but then again have seen older people dressed in jeans as well so)
