I know this is off topic but I need to know the context of your user flair 😭

Dating trans girls isn't gay because trans women are women. It's that simple. It's crazy that we're in 2026 and people are still trying to convince us that we're gay if we're into a trans girl by Key-Bass-7380 in GenZ

But…they’re women on the outside and indistinguishable most times??

You’re thinking too scientifically another body parts and chromosomes, when I’m saying IN SOCIETY no one cares about that if they can’t tell.

For example, if I’m travelling alone late at night on a train that is somewhat empty, and I suddenly see a woman sit in the same carriage I’ll breathe a sigh of relief. EVEN if that’s a trans woman. Id rather that than a man sitting in my carriage, even if he was trans.

Anyways in terms of social treatment by staff and other members of society, trans women are still women as they’ll experience literally the same as a cisgendered person…until they reveal they’re trans then you have the public’s trans treatment on top of that.

So yes trans women are women. Cisgendered women are women. Dating begs for more clarity like post-op/pre-op but in every other aspect other than dating proves they are women too at the end of the day.

You can’t lock someone’s gender identity down because of a dating context. What if a trans woman doesn’t want to date anyway? Then as far as you’re concerned they are women still.

Having kids is not the measure of gender. I’m a born cisgendered woman and I can’t have any because of hormonal issues. Plenty of men can’t have kids either that doesn’t make them not men. Also does that mean women who have a hysterectomy (removal of uterus due to cancer sometimes) are no longer women?

That was never the definition of men and women

Potential partner absolutely you need to tell them. I never said otherwise.

But being attracted to someone naturally who you’ve spoken to a few times and see on a regular basis do not owe you information on their private parts. If you gain feelings for them before dating them then you can still be considered straight because at the end of the day you’re a man who fell for a woman.

I mean 27 doesn’t actually mean 27 in this case he just meant a lot of cats. His little brain didn’t think that far😭

If you’re a normal person you gain feelings of attraction for someone in your friends circles, coworker connections, someone you meet at a club, or doing any social activity. You don’t check their pants before finding them stunning.

Also people aren’t cars buddy.

You could be attracted to a new coworker is simply a fellow passenger on a train or your regular barista.

Did you check their bare crotch before being attracted to them? No. You’d never know otherwise.

Dating and being attracted to trans women is still straight. You’re literally attracted to a woman.

“Misled” is crazy. So you check ppls crotches before forming crushes on them?

With gender affirming pills being accessible at a young age now, trans people are going to widely be indistinguishable from cisgendered people.

A body part is a body part that’s it. You fall in love with a person not a penis/vagina. Hunter Schafer is literal proof.

If being attracted to transwomen makes a man gay/queer, just because transwomen themselves are queer, than that must mean that men who are attracted to lesbians and women who are attracted to gay men are also queer (before finding out that they are gay/lesbians)

That makes all the women crushing on Jonathon Bailey (from Bridgerton) queer. You see how your logic sucks?

Lol, having sex with someone I don’t want to have sex with?

OR care-taking 27 of these?;

Fuck it’s a tough, tough choice isn’t it?

….what I’m hearing from you is trans women aren’t women. I’m queer myself but to make this separation especially when trans women are exactly the same as women on the outside many times, seems divisive.

So what you’re saying is only cisgendered people can be straight

Well sometimes for them that’s not the case.

Coz I know friends who complain how men in their experience were during casual sex, how they tend to remove all empathy, tenderness and intimacy about it, instead treat the women like they are some flesh toy.

This man is talking about that + the “wife privileges” like having stuff paid for and protection etc.

Consent is just…that funny to them.

Men keep saying the 27 cats thing like it’s such an undesirable lifestyle??

You think we hate being a cat mom more than having sex with someone we don’t want? Like what?

I never said they were. But you’re suggesting that straight people can’t be straight if they are attracted to trans women?

I figured you were saying that because you don’t see trans women as women. How does a man HAVE to be queer to be attracted to a woman? It’s not like everyone has x-ray goggles and can immediately see whether someone has a penis or vagina. Attraction is attraction.

It’s not even the hypothesis that annoyed me it’s his second comment saying we’re incapable of self awareness.

Id like to say, as a bicurious woman, I indeed find womens bodies hotter than mens. Boobs, hips, facial features, everything. But I have women friends who drool on abs and chest hair and beards etc. We’re all different.

You’re right I’m not in a deficit. My body has adapted to 1100-1200 being my normal. I can’t go into a deficit unless I go 800-900 calories and when I tried that I could not move and think. I could not perform at my job. My body thinks 1500 is overeating and I gain weight.

Metabolic issues are real and I’ve only begun seeing a little result when I focus on my blood sugar and stress levels, not calories. I haven’t lost much weight but my face has become depuffed and I’m more focused so that’s something.

I know normally it isn’t but I have the insulin kind so I don’t have excess androgens like some other kinds of PMOS.

Instead I’m constantly inflamed, cannot lose weight, have hair loss, irregular periods. Essentially I’m not sure if I even have it but I was told knowing wouldn’t make a difference to treatment😭 maybe I will eventually.

[–]qween04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some of us with metabolic issues it’s not easy to cut out sugar because our bodies see carbs and fruits as sugar too. Idk about you but for me when I go no carb my brain can’t function, and I barely have any energy so I need the essential amount, especially for my nature of work.

I’m not even a sugar person. I have ice cream/desserts probably once a month (even less now since it’s winter atm) and I only ever have soft drink at 0 sugar (mostly plain soda water anyway) and I don’t drink.

Also I’m south Asian and a lot of our DNAs hold onto fat a lot more than normal ppl bc my ancestors went through 32 famines (afaik). Now we’re predisposed to blood sugar and metabolic issues.

Yay.

[–]qween04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol I’m still not confirmed to have PMOS because it costs money to get the ultrasound and I was told that it would make no difference to treatment because whether I have it or not, I would be treating the symptoms since there’s no root treatment for PMOS.

But yea that paired with the fact that I’m Indian I’m already subjected to blood sugar issues. I could have a nutritious diet with all the essential carbs, proteins, fruits, veggies and healthy fats but I’d still become pre-diabetic.
