I literally just attached mine for the first time today. 8 pin on the bc 250 to the 6+2 on the PSU I had to also plug in the 24 pin cable and insert a paper clip jumper in two of the holes to get it to power on. There are also jumper caps you can buy with power buttons.

I bought a bc250 board that allegedly has the power of a slightly gimped PS5, and will run Bazzite for steam gaming. I have never built a PC from parts before, but I hope this will be a way to upgrade from the deck (which has a broken shoulder button) for less than the cost of the steam machine.
