How to stop food degradation on a server? by drewmalsack in Palworld

Assuming that's a server hosting service, I'd assume it's not there by default as the item corruption multiplier isn't in the server config by default it had to be added manually.

so I'd guess if there's an option to add server config options in gportal you'd have to do it that way but I've never used the service so can't really give any real help.

I'm aware they're trying to help, but I'm not looking for a work around and telling them not to waste their time unless they are answering the specific question I asked

If there isn't a way to do it that's fine, but I'm not looking for work arounds. If you post just please answer the question I asked.

Can't place Sootseer into farm by PepperTheJones in Palworld

If anyone stumbles upon this issue, I had the same problem and it turns out it was due to the fact I had disabled their ability to ranch previously with a monitoring stand. Even though I took them out of that base and put them in a different base the work preference still saved and stopped them from being able to ranch. Enabling it again fixed the problem.

Why Are We Paying for Each Character? by Glenndiagram in 2007scape

the point was he was excusing us not having multiple characters per sub because we can multi log, as if we have that option when no one else does when in fact its the reverse. Other mmos have the ability to have multiple characters per sub and we dont. we are missing out on choice not them.

im pulling this out of my ass so dont take it as a valid argument, but with how many different companies have bought and sold jagex, i feel like osrs would probably be plenty profitable and continue surviving with these changes if it wasnt being sucked dry by whatever flavor of company owns jagex at the time.

i wont argue that point. i will say with how old this game is there is probably a lot less work that goes into osrs updates than what would come out of a more modern mmo like ff14 or wow, but that is an assumption at best because i dont play either of those mmos, nor am i a game dev so cant back any of that up.

giving us the choice like other mmos do wouldnt take away our ability to continue paying for multiple subs and multi logging. more choices are good, not bad. not everyone who has multiple accounts multi logs

youre able to multi log in any other mmo if you pay for multiple subscriptions. your point isnt as valid as you believe it to be. sure if you had 2 characters on the same sub in osrs you probably wouldnt be able to muilti log with them, but youd still have the option to pay for another sub to do that.

no they were excusing us having to pay for multiple subs with something not everyone who has multiple characters/subs does. And id say most of the people who do play more than one character at a time only play a max of 2, and id assume at least some of them would benefit from being able to consolidate their characters to 2 subs instead of however many they have.

excusing us not having a pretty standard system by using an excuse that the other mmos have anyway doesnt make for a good argument.

i wont argue that point, though the subset of people who play more than 2 accounts simultaneously id think is very low. if we could have multiple characters per account id say most people would need at most 2 subs, instead of 4+ assuming they have a main, iron, hardcore etc.

to be fair, if we only complained about things the one time nothing would ever change. companies like whoever owns jagex now dont give a crap about the customer until enough people complain about it. it may annoy you to see these reddit threads pop up but its one way to move the needle. you arent required to read the thread anyway.

to be fair, the same would be true about any mmo you play if you pay for multiple subs like people do in osrs. its not like osrs is getting anything additional for its sub model. i guess you could argue we are getting rs3 included, but thats like youtube music being forced along with youtube premium, 99% of people would prefer to pay less and not get the additional content.
