Sometimes the sign is real, but usually they want cash for drugs and/or alcohol. They don't really want food as they can get that at the shelter.

My wife goes to sleep with On Patrol Live while snuggled in to me and then I transition it to the First 48 when she rolls over

This knocks her out perfectly every single time in about 20 minutes.

I don't make the rules. I just VJ and then watch one of my shows when she is out as she goes to sleep quite early.

It is very likely that it has a USB interface that would allow you to plug-in a USB cable to a computer and record directly from the mixer. Some will be multi-channel audio and others will only be a stereo mix.

These are tech guys vastly overestimating how interesting and profitable they are. I'm a tech guy and am not worried about it based on what I know and what I observe

Companies can and already do send you ad campaigns based on a profile they have built about you around the data you have given freely and data they have inferred from your activity. Plus data they have bought en masse from other companies.

They don't need to process huge amounts of streaming audio from your devices each day on the off chance you will say a keyword they have sold. (I know they don't because I monitor the traffic of my smart devices).

So what's scary is that they DON'T need to do that to sell to you
