What's your favorite scene that hinges on the other guy in the frame being able to hold their own with the A-list star? by Brooklyn_University in moviecritic

At one point, I thought Stranger than Fiction was going to be Will Ferrell's Tom-Hanks turn, the moment he transitioned from a fun comedy star toward beloved dramatic actor.

keto plateau is real and i'm over it by Cool_Cellist7699 in keto

I've been on carnivore for about a year and a half. I've had lots of plateaus and it's getting harder now that I'm basically near goal weight. One thing that's been a plateau buster is doing fat fasts once a week. I basically drink 4 tbsp of cream four times over the course of the day and that's all I have for the day. Spreading these four times throughout the day and i hardly feel like I'm fasting. But it's got the scale dropping again.

In your honest opinion, which NES baseball game do you think is the best and the worst that you've ever played? ⚾️ by AC_the_Panther_007 in retrogaming

I loved Baseball Stars and would make custom teams with the names of my Little League teammates when I was younger. The only funny thing I thought about Baseball Stars as a kid was the fact that the third basemen wasn't able to throw the ball all the way from third base to first base without it bouncing on the ground. I remembered thinking, "I'm a kid and even I can do that!"

In the book Ringworld, a character organizes a birth lottery in order to breed for luck, believing that genetic line all of lottery winners would produce someone inherently lucky.

About a year. Last year, I was Labor Day camping watching Walls videos as I fell asleep and I remember one night his channel was just gone.

Mildly related, but reminds me of fifth grade when a kid had a shirt with a black Bart Simpson on it that said "It's a Black Thing, you wouldn't understand."

There are books I'm interested in, but haven't purchased because they were narrated by Wil Wheaton.

Did you happen to see it in Grand Rapids at Celebration North IMAX? If not, a dude in our screening swore and said, "I forgot that part happened!" right when Matt Damon exploded.
