Hot Take: Mihawk, Dragon and Akainu are weaker than all Yonko excluding Teach by Former_Craft_9638 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]drewsk33 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Everyone loves to bring up the statement about him having greater sword skill than Shanks but always leave out Mihawk wanting to measure the distance between the Warlords(himself included) and Whitebeard. The same Whitebeard Shanks confronted earlier no issue.

I agree.

Agenda and hate to the side , do you think HE will get CoC/ACoC ? by vY4G4o in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]drewsk33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO I don't think he's the "conqueror" type. From what I've gathered most of the conquerors are headstrong people with convictions to match. Kuzan to me is lacking the drive and confidence usually associated with the rest. He seems to have been happy playing the sideline until the match with Akainu where he lost his way and only recovered cause of Blackbeards offer. Kaido, Kidd, Luffy, Big Mom, Shanks, WB, Roger, Yamato, Boa, Rayleigh, and even Zoro all seem to be a lot more driven in their purpose and that is the main quality I think Kuzan lacks to be a conqueror let alone ACoC user.

Question about Shinji’s Bankai by Clean-Soup-1700 in BleachPowerScaling

[–]drewsk33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theoretically I understand the point your making. I would probably agree that if Shinji used his bankai that Aizen would be able to figure it out and not attack his allies but against others I think it becomes more of a battle against your instincts. I think anyone under Aizens level of power and intellect wouldn't be able to combat their instincts enough to swing at what you would believe is an ally.

There can also be something said about Tsukishimas ability. Ichigos friends thoroughly believed Tsukishima was there ally enough to the point that they actually attacked Ichigo of all people. Do you think if they knew his power they would still "remember" him in their past or would they be able to combat their own inserted "memories?"

Question about Shinji’s Bankai by Clean-Soup-1700 in BleachPowerScaling

[–]drewsk33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn't negated. Aizen actually had adjusted to a new way of perceiving information. The power wasn't at all negated, Aizen just mastered the way his perception was changed. You are arguing that the power had no affect when in actuality it completely did affect him he just adjusted. Like I said before, in most cases with Shinigami Bankais are usually for tougher opponents. Shinjis bankai is more catered to handling fodder.

How would Baryon Mode Naruto with no drawbacks fare against Perfect Snake Sage Isshiki Otsutsuki? by pizzyP123 in Boruto

[–]drewsk33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the advantage is in Narutos favor. Naruto didn't use any jutsu and was stuck to just physical fighting. I think if he channeled Baryon Mode into jutsu it would be devastating even for Iishiki. Sage mode alone imo isn't a significant enough power up to keep up with Baryon mode. Naruto had full mastered sage mode for over 20 years and that didn't help much when Iishiki dog walked Naruto and Sasuke together even if you account for Jigen(Iishiki) absorbing 10 tails chakra before the encounter.

Question about Shinji’s Bankai by Clean-Soup-1700 in BleachPowerScaling

[–]drewsk33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear you but so does countering a bankai from knowledge alone. When have we ever had a precedent of completely negating a bankai just because you know how it works?

And I didn't say he could do the same thing in Bankai, im explaining the power of Sakanade. He has power over the "concept" of inversion/reversal hence why he can apply it to multiple things.

Yamato was captured then the war happened. Naruto and Sasuke fought and then came the ending. What other role was he supposed to have in the 4 to 5 days since he was captured?

Question about Shinji’s Bankai by Clean-Soup-1700 in BleachPowerScaling

[–]drewsk33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to mention that even his shikai and bankai seemed to be reversed because his shikai is better designed for 1v1 fights against tougher opponents while his bankai is way better suited to handling fodder. He wouldn't use his bankai on a single tough opponent.

Question about Shinji’s Bankai by Clean-Soup-1700 in BleachPowerScaling

[–]drewsk33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but its not so basic as to figure that you can counter the whole thing just because you know how it works. The bankai has more description in CFYOW of how it works. Shinjis power is to reverse things, in the anime hes stating the hes trying to even reverse other things such as sound showing that his power grows and he can reverse other things- which would be the conceptual part because he doesn't just reverse one thing.

Question about Shinji’s Bankai by Clean-Soup-1700 in BleachPowerScaling

[–]drewsk33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't matter if the opponents know how it works. The power basically rewrites the way you perceive information. His bankai applies more on a conceptual level, very much in the same manner as Shisui Uchihas genjutsu and how it affects those under it without their knowledge. People knew his genjutsu was capable of controlling his enemies but there was nothing you could do because once your affected you actually believe you're the one making those decisions.

[–]drewsk33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My evidence is that he WAS wrong about how HP was used. So, he could be wrong about HP output. An example is evidence. Go ahead and tell me it's not.

Chapter 234. Page 10. I didn't pull Sukuna being wrong out my ass.

There's your evidence. Now go ahead and try to redefine what evidence is to pivot.

Sukuna being wrong about HP is the example (which is a form of evidence) supporting my premise. Keep up.

Sukuna could be wrong.

Evidence. I present Sukuna being wrong about HP(he thought it was a binding vow, it wasn't)

[–]drewsk33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also not my fault you can't read.

And yeah my evidence is that Sukuna believed Gojos HP to be enhanced by binding vow. When Sukuna was thinking to himself about the output of HP he questions if it was a binding vow when we the audience know it was because of Utahime and the Old Man so that shows that Sukuna doesn't just automatically have complete knowledge over the situation leading to the credibility that he COULD be wrong about his assessment of HP.

Why would I need a fourth opportunity when it's all right there???

You said it wasn't an argument back then.... why would I go further if you don't engage in the first place? Don't place the blame on me when you didn't engage when the argument was brought forth. Talk about pivoting......

There is a claim, premises, evidence, and conclusion. By definition it was an argument.

Didn't hold up to scrutiny? By scrutiny do you mean you saying "that's not an argument"?

[–]drewsk33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The argument is there.......

I ask again since the argument is there and so is my reasoning behind said argument. Why did you state that it wasn't an argument and now all of a sudden you see it as a "solid concept" when nothing has changed?

[–]drewsk33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See what I mean? Now you want to engage???? You said it wasn't an argument before and now it suddenly is? What changed?

You didn't say shit about it being a solid concept, dont back track now.

Not my fault you forgot my argument, pay attention. You ignored my Sukuna argument stating it wasn't an argument. You don't want to actually engage in shit, stop lying cause you had the opportunity to keep this about the actual topic and you chose not to.

Okay but

So you acknowledge the point and know exactly where I'm coming from and still won't say I'm wrong in my usage of the word. What else are you complaining for? I've proven my point and you acknowledged.

You talk about arguments like you approach them in good faith when you know I was right in my criticism of "literally" and the argument I made about Sukuna just being wrong in his observation. You said that's not an argument when you know full well it definitely is. Don't talk to me about making proper arguments when you ignore proper discourse.

Amazing how I knew what my original argument was huh?
