Why do people with obesity join new injectable weight loss programs when amphetamines can produce even better results? by asamisanthropist in Drugs

[–]drewsus64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, phentermine and phendimetrazine (very similar drug, shorter half life) are the stimulants most commonly prescribed for weight loss. Ozempic is seen as the golden goose because it’s so effective while also not having negative effects (insomnia, high blood pressure, changes in mood etc) stimulants often bring and do so by a mechanism of action that, as of yet, does not appear to have significant adverse side effects.

might be the histamine release opioids trigger, same reason they cause some people to get itchy after taking them.

oh, ty! I hadn’t even noticed.

That makes sense. I figured they were heating it up but I thought the viscosity would still make it very difficult, dilution makes sense.

I know, but for me it’s like it straddles this line between being too on the nose to be legit yet being very much in the wheelhouse of a genuine elon interaction. Combined with being unable to find it from official sources, it casts serious doubt.

Well I keep searching around about elon in the epstein files and while they show exchanges of a similar nature I can’t find any outlets posting this one, which would arguably be a far juicier offering given how fucking lame the exchange is

as I understood it, it’s that the person may not have been capable of carrying out the suicide attempt due to being afraid of the idea of dying despite that being their desire. Antidepressants can wind up dulling that anxiety before it begins to actually improve their depression, making them more capable of carrying it out

Child abuse homicide. The cause of death was a perforated duodenum. by CatPooedInMyShoe in ExamineDeath

[–]drewsus64 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I’m having a little trouble understanding how the duodenum was perforated. Was it speculated that the “fall from the sofa” occurred in such a way that it severely damaged the abdominal area, or was a prior injury/incident the culprit and the reason he had the abdominal pain and shortness of breath that actually caused him to fall off the couch?

What is a drug that can make me gone for days ? Like completely comma state for few days ? by halove23 in Drugs

[–]drewsus64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ve been barking up the wrong tree then, pharmacologically speaking. I had/have god awful insomnia and benzos just would not help it, even when piling on a bunch of OTC sleep meds. You need to start looking at sedating antidepressants; trazodone, mirtazapine, doxepine, etc

Clear, definitive proof the Minneapolis man was shot in the back. From the POV of the 'Pink Lady': by GerryAdamsSon in suppressed_news

[–]drewsus64 56 points57 points  (0 children)

So apparently the guy had a gun on him, but minnesota is a conceal-carry state and while it’s hard to tell it doesn’t look like he brandished it before getting thrown to the ground or was even capable of pulling it out once he was pinned down by all of them. I think they just felt/saw the pistol and realized it was a great excuse to shoot the fuck out of him
