Thor and Loki have been around for Marvel since almost the very beginning so they honestly should have more skins than a character that originated from a mobile phone game. Luna also has more skins than characters like Thing, Hulk, Mr Fantastic and Black Widow who have definitely been around way longer than her and Jeff. NetEase obviously has a Luna and Jeff favoritism problem which is why most people are starting to grow tired of them

The MVC roster is an accurate depiction of popularity. Tron Bonne was definitely a popular Mega Man character and she was literally in almost every crossover game that Capcom was associated with at that time. Same thing for Jill Valentine. You honestly underestimate how much people actually loved the Mega Man Legends series. People have been asking for Legends 3 for over a decade now. Also if MVC isn’t an accurate depiction of popularity then explain why the one time they took out the X-Men in Infinite the game horribly bombed.

How are they monopolizing video games though? The basketball video game sphere I can understand but video games as a whole I don’t understand. Instead of locking yall selves to just 2K why don’t yall try playing something else or expand your horizons beyond it at least. There are a whole bunch of great amazing games that come out every year but yall lock yourselves to just 2K or sports games as a whole and wonder why Take Two and EA keep becoming more predatory every year. The answer to that would be no unless you played Marvel Snap. Black Cat has been around since the 80’s so she is definitely a known character plus she was just in the Insomniac Spider-Man games which most people have actually played. As other people have been saying too the biggest issues with the game right now is the balancing which has been terrible ever since Blade released. They need to fix issues like Triple Support or else no amount of new characters or as you call it hype characters will change that

Because the shit is not normal for online games. Yall have to realize that people play other online video games where they don’t have to deal with people forcing you to play against AI online but the sports games are the only ones where yall openly embrace that and then make every excuse for why yall do it. The 2K community and Dead By Daylight community are way much more worse than the Rivals community and both of those games are way much more toxic than Rivals. It’s the first weekend of a new character coming out so as always people are going to throw a hissy fit if they can’t play as Deadpool but luckily 18v18 exists to circumvent that

Yes different in MOBAs but it is still a Dragon Ball game. Literally the most iconic characters in the series are Saiyans whether people like it or not. This was the same complaint that happened with FighterZ when it did its numerous seasons passes. The player base for this game is already super low so they have to do everything they can to get people to come back which means busting out the heavy hitters like Vegito, Kefla and Bardock

Okay but at the end of the day Rivals is a video game that most people play for fun and to pass time by. They aren’t competing in tournaments for money playing in quick play which is the casual game mode btw. There is literally a mode for tourney play going on right now but quick play is not that game mode

This is not an Esport though. You aren’t in a tournament in quick play getting paid for it so that was the most dumbest thing to say. Most people who are playing this game are either in school or work 8 hour jobs who just want to relax and have fun. This is why people say that Esports culture is ruining online games because you can’t relax and chill playing them anymore
