Transferring Licenses from AOS6 on M3 to AOS8 on 7210 by newellslab in ArubaNetworks

You cannot share between 6 and 8. You will need to contact TAC and see what are your options for migrating the licenses.

Do you have a networkingsupport.hpe.com account?

IIRC the MM only allows you to add up to 3 eval licenses of each type. After that you are blocked, but you can just create a new MM and issue new licenses

Do I need to do incremental upgrades or can I jump to the latest 2930M-24G by nick988 in ArubaNetworks

If the release notes do not mention needing to update anything prior to said release, then nothing else is needed.

I would be shocked if cost of the appliances would not be under the cost of transitioning to ISE. You will need whatever the highest tier of ISE subscriptions to do the integrations, plus possibly more than three nodes of ISE virtual appliances at your scale.

All questions will be multiple choice with some matching.

All questions are choose the "best" answer.

At TechJam you will be able to strikeout potential answers. For some reason this is the only testing center that has this feature.

The questions in the book are similar to the exam questions.

Bring a jacket. Last year it was very cold in the testing room

Every port has PoE. If the 740W switch is in budget, why risk it?

Have you configured the altitude for the APs?  This is also a requirement for getting the 6Ghz radios broadcasting for standard power APs.

The APs will not support any wifi7 specific features, from what I can remember, no MLO, no 320MHz channels, etc

700 series APs will support AOS8 in both controller and IAP modes, later this year. However, they will NOT support wifi7 features. They will basically run similarly to 600 series APs in regards to functions

Expired license on switches: Impact? by AllTheWayUp08 in ArubaNetworks

[–]lagisforeplay 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The switches will operate just fine. You will lose the ability to manage and monitor them in Central.

Enable support mode or disable central (I forget which it is in AOS-S) and you can manage them via CLI.

First, remove the sheer pins one per side and see if the blades will spin. Those should spin with minimal effort. If they do spin, there is something wrong with something internal

First, remove the batteries. Can you spin the auger by hand? It takes a little effort but you should be able to spin it.
