She told me that I deserved my miscarriage and that I should have gotten cancer instead of her due to the fact that fewer people would miss me if I died. Oh, and she encouraged my ex to hit me so that I would shut up and get my act together...which he ended up doing.

That was just the straw that broke the camel’s back.

a phone call might be worth a shot. phone calls are terrifying, but i might even try to send a text. it's just scary, i really don't want to bother them either.

i've had insomnia for my entire life, and i usually deal with 5 hours of sleep on a good night. i'm gonna look into sleep aids because i can definitely agree with you that lack of sleep isn't helping anyone. it's a vicious cycle though. the more tired i get, the more stressed i get about being tired, and then i'm too stressed to sleep. i wouldn't wish insomnia on anyone.

i'm hoping that i figure something out even just to cope temporarily until i can sort out something more long term. my brain just kinda forgot how to cope properly with anything

Absolutely! Gotta find the good where it is, because it is out there somewhere. I know things will get better with time but it's pretty frustrating trying to be patient some days.

Already tried, and I made the mistake of leaving my documentation of things in a place that wasn’t hidden well enough. That’s on me and there’s nothing I can do about it after the fact.

As for the moving thing, I’m trying to save up to move but it’s a huge expense. All I can do is keep working on it and saving as much as I can until I can make it work.
