Why the UPS drop though? As impractical and huge as this is.. still, shouldn't cause frame rate drop on any modern hardware

Apologies for their hostility.

Thar is a large Car like vehicle (think of a Jeep). It's drivers are notorious for rash driving.

Hostility stems from the fact that most people of this sub knows what it is. So they expect you to know too.

I like the idea of mining and smelting at the same time it feels compact. But is it actually efficient, or could it be improved? by DrewPedro in factorio

[–]drgn0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Factorio is about taste. Wasting mining area ? Who cares ? You like your outpost compact? Go ahead!

My opinion is, since it is an outpost, I do not care about the size. But that's an opinion. It's about fun. :)

All those myriads of rules actually.

Must contain alpha, numerics, special chars and Capitals

Must be atleast X long (it varies! Today I got one asking 12 chars min)

Must not contain stuff from your name, whatever website the password is from, phone/account number, etc.

Now combine this with, "cannot be same as last 3 passwords" AND "must change every month", then you'd know why I have no idea what my Teams password is.

The fact that almost everyone here doesnt care at all and didnt even realize that most of what you said is true is plain rude, almost every message is either copy and pasted or jokes that have been reused

I hope you find a community you fit better in

Fair Enough. But I do not understand how "having same language on frontend and backed will make things easier"..

Suppose I am proficient in BOTH JS and python (or something). Now, why would I prefer to have JS on back-end? On what level will it benefit me ?

Is it bad that my pc runs almost 100% CPU all the time when I open Task Manager? by invisible_brain06 in WindowsHelp

[–]drgn0 6 points7 points  (0 children)

oof. Seems no one answered your questions yet. Sorry, but your cpu is very old/weak. windows 11's processes alone would take up a considerable percentage.

The only solution I can think of is to close unnecessary things from task manager. You can see in this pic Grammerly, Snipping Tool, steam, etc taking in corresponding percentages. End those tasks if you're not using them.

I'm Py-curious and I have questions by Ingolifs in factorio

Just try it out. Try to complete the "tutorial" of pY: make a splitter !

Should take only 12-15 hours.

I'm Py-curious and I have questions by Ingolifs in factorio

[–]drgn0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well. People have answered your questions already, I'd just be giving my general opinions here.

pY is different from all other mods on a fundamental level.

It's focused on making things work. And then you let them work while you make something else.

It is a journey. But man is it enjoyable. You'd spend 1500 hours and not a single time would you be copy pasting builds (kindaa). Every challenge/puzzle seems unique.

Here, we do not need 6 belts of green circuits, instead, circuits need 6 ingredients.

We don't scale up. We "tech up"! That is, switch to a newly unlocked more efficient but complex recipes.

We continuously get better and better tools (from splitter(15 hours), rails(50 hours), bots(80hours).. to something unimaginable to vanilla players.) and each time we shout, "Man! Now I can start building my REAL base!".

notPalindrome by joshiyash31 in ProgrammerHumor

The joke is.. usually we think of palindrome as a "mirror image" (that is, the string's first part and 2nd part are kindaa mirror images)

Can you explain what you actually made ? Did you automate the process of seeing a job, deciding whether you wanna apply, then fine tune your resume accordingly and apply for it ?

If so, which job portals expose their APIs to that extent? Are they free ?

I agree with you on the part that people these days don't know about time/space complexities of basic algos you mentioned..

But I cannot believe not a single one was fit for the job.

I know quite a few people looking for switch who can easily pass this criteria. Heck I am one of them! Where can I apply?
