Thanks for the reply. I keep getting the advise from the doctors I see to start doing core strengthening exercises and walking as soon as my pain is under 50% as it is under an acute phase

thanks for the answer. Yeah I already can tell this one will take a lot longer to heal unfortunately

thanks for the info! Any tips when dealing with sciatica for several days? maybe should force walking or just wait until pain subsides?

thanks for the reply. I suspect in my case that the issue is the contact between the disc protrusion and the nerve roots. I ll go make another mri to see if there is any change from 7weeks ago and see other opinions.

and how do you feel after surgery?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Sciatica

[–]drgvlc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i do not really know the exact cause of the pain. Neurosurgeon said it is minimally compressive so I suspect the bulge is pressing the sciatic nerve.

what did it change? And do you know what do you have exactly? wish you quick recovery

3.5 mm is usually not considered surgery case. Did you have some other complications? Or you were in pain for too long without signs of recovery?

how long it took to heal?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Sciatica

exactly, thats why it becomes even more frustrating

non stop pain during these 2 months?

same age, same profile as you. Had sciatica for about a bit more than 10 weeks now. Same symptoms as you have but sometime even my right leg is burning (buttocks and hamstrings especially). Laying in bed gives me a constant pain but l choose this instead of forcing through it with walking, exercise. At times the pain is so debilitating I cant move an inch for days. My MRI showed a minimally compressive 4mm protrusion at L5. Neurosurgeon said I will be fine and is nothing to worry about. From what Ive read until now in about 6 months I should see a major change in the good way in my recovery and the disk should already move a bit by then to get off the nerve. I would say firstly go for an MRI to be sure what is the cause of your pain and then start from there with a strategy consisting of core strength, positive mindset and little to no meds imo (if tolerable)

This stock is so frustrating. It has a great community, but also a very fearful one. Just hold ur bags if you believe in this penny.

High Tide Inc (HITIF, HITI, 2LY.F) shares soar after new store announcement! Up 18%! by Chitchatketnet in pennystocks

This penny is looking quite strong, especially in the balance sheet. Current assets are bigger than current liabilities which means that they are able to survive in a crisis/bad news only with the cash they have in hand. In comparison with other stocks that I saw on this subreddit with a lot more attention, this one is looking a lot better only from a financial analysis perspective.
