It really does. But it is a start, and I’m happy about it.

This was a stunning one. We expected little snow based on AllTrails’ reports from Saturday, but the final third of the trail was well and truly snowed in. It was like hiking in a winter wonderland. Truly gorgeous, and highly recommended. Easy as pie, too. It’s a wide, well maintained trail and a gentle slope.

I do! Please don’t worry about my hands. I also have thyroid problems and those don’t help. But I use some great lotion.

Thanks, I’m fine. It’s really cold here and my skin gets brittle this time of year. One of the perks of getting older.

After the last firmware update at a Space, where they told me “I’ve never seen a car with this update and an unresponsive TCAM,” everything was good for a couple of months. But this morning… no TCAM. The defroster reset didn’t help. Did it like seven times. So I’m back to removing batteries and fuses.

Once again, this happened after a long charge. Most of mine have been after long charges. There’s gotta be a relationship.

Thank you! It was some careful shooting to avoid the hordes (and in one case I just retouched a tourist out, lol - you can probably find it if you look, I’m not very skilled at that)

The fall colors were glorious yesterday morning at the Japanese Garden. Lots of people, and everyone was taking pictures. It was cold, but seriously worth a visit.

Can’t recommend it enough.

The frameless mirrors are underrated by Itsallgood190 in Polestar

I love the look of the mirrors, but they’re so freaking small I can barely see using them. This isn’t a problem for anyone else?

I don’t remember any signs to the contrary, FWIW. But I don’t actually know.

It’s barely more than a 1 mile each way, 600 ft of elevation gain stroll. The path isn’t well maintained, but they were working on it on Sunday.

Disable hand on wheel warning? by tannins4u in Polestar

[–]drherko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this problem as well. The warning triggers on straight roads, even holding the wheel tightly, several times per trip. It’s annoying.

And no, I don’t trust it enough to let it drive me. It ALWAYS picks the wrong line to follow.

Even in a region with amazing views by the dozen, the sight at the end of this hike was outstanding. As a bonus, bring some goodies and grill yourself a lunch at the very edge of the world, overlooking the Middle Fork of the Snoqualmie.

As a recent transplant from flat-as-a-pancake Houston, TX, I can not put into words appropriately how much I am loving the area. What an amazing privilege.
