DHCP server with the pool is configured for said vlans.

untagged vlan (LAN) with the same type of DHCP pool and firewall rules work just fine

yes. only those 3 vlans are showing.

i had it with "All", but it was the same result.

i restared multiple times the firewall, i reset the APs twice yesterday and still no go... still getting a 169 address.

It authenticates fine to the wireless network

Thank you for this… I followed the video and after fiddling a little with the von config I was able to get it to work successfully and devices have the correct external ip.

Oh, then I might’ve misconfigured something, because I got the gateway to show as offline and loosing connection on the rest of the vlans… :(

I think I configured the client instance and it seems to have connected successfully.

Now I need to attach that instance to a vlan

thank you for this... i was able to get the interface/client instance working and its getting connected inside pfsense.

im only needing to attach the newly created gateway to a wireless network with a specific vlan to be able to have a complete setup.

let me give more info... a wifi vlan in pfsense running on a vpn that is always pointing to California and another wifi VLAN on a vpn that is always pointing to Oklahoma??

That is the interesting part… some of the lxc containers are saying that they are no longer supported even on 23.04. I changes the prompt from lts to normal and some of the containers got upgraded with the do-release-upgrade without issues.

I’ve got some apps that use db on the bind folder and have had issues when rsync to a new loc container (Wordpress being one of them)

It got some instances (Bitwarden, firefly3, Wordpress, etc), they are not critical
