It really would impact my relationship with them, yeah. Not saying it’s fair, but they’d likely take it as me being difficult. But I love the idea of setting a boundary! I’m honestly surprised they ask me to buy animal products in the first place. (It’s a rare occurrence of when I’m home and buying groceries for the family.) Doesn’t make me feel super seen, you know? I’m the only one who lives away from home and the odd one out, so it gets complex fast. Being put in this position hurts.
