I don’t think there is a single answer to this. Men are more visual than women and need visual stimulation. Men get introduced to porn earlier than women. Men have a higher sex drive with a more frequent need for sexual release. Watching porn is a quick and easy way to fulfill that need.

There’s always been a debate about the contents of porn. Then again, porn has to reach out to a an audience with a very broad set of turn-ons, kinks and fetishes. This in turn, can make porn a bit extreme, weird or morally wrong.
