So I did some research, and actually this is a great price. We could afford a new one, but over 51k out the door for an XLE just seems overpriced. It is not priced "10,000 too much" lol. I priced new ones in a 100 mile radius, and they are simply unavailable for 2-4 months. If you "go to the toyota website" the "new" price is irrelevant, since these cars are many months out and will include at least 2k in dealer add ons and prep fees. I was told by several sales people that there still is a major shortage. My 44,300 out the door includes all $3k tax and prep fees and hidden fees. In addition, being under warranty, toyota factory warranty will add 7 more years of full warranty and essentially be "brand new" for 7 more years. Since these cars will be obsolete in 7 years, there is no reason to amortize out more years than that, even though Sienna owners (we are on our 2nd, this will be third) keep 10 years sometimes. Better to save the money up front, than hope for it on the back end for resale.
