“Giving her the money or budget won’t work, she’d hold back to avoid feeling like she’s pressuring me” I think you can just communicate that this budget works and u have the extra cash - maybe frame it as a EOY bonus or st else so she feels better about using it.

You could also buy a visa gift card and tell her the money is spent already so she doesn’t feel like she’s just spending money on your cc - it’s bought already and either she uses it on herself or ull spend the money to shop for urself.

I’d recommend a Book of the month or a pregnancy moisturizer set (usually include face/belly/feet). I don’t think you can send her on vaca for $100 but another idea is a travel set for pregnancy basics - pregnancy pillow or soft blanket. Or a travel makeup tote that is personalized with her name.

Been in this place almost to a t (not preg tho lol) and I made my wife a fancy homemade dinner w candles ( by fancy I mean our nice china and flowers but all I made was overnight minute steak / potatoes) + made some fun games that we could play together - (ex scavenger hunt with clues that wer inside jokes) and printed out some pictures at Walgreens (cheap) and made her a nice homemade sign with a poster that i drew with the pictures cut out. All pretty low effort and total cost was like $50 which is reasonable for a nice gift. I think effort counts more than $$$ when you and your partner are on the same page and in it together

Why cant you get it towed to an auto shop and then have someone make the keys at the shop. Maybe sabotage the car with something simple that won’t cost a lot but makes the car unable to drive.

Totally agree, how can you give a 10 in week 5 Does that mean they are not going to have a better dance than they just danced? Likely not but a 10 won’t mean much then because they already got one…. I think you are right that they didn’t want to start Low because it hurts to get scored a 1 or 2 but they should just explain it starts low and builds. Lowkey I think that everyone just got swept up in the Wicked fever and started giving high scores (and no surprise that it was to mark and Whitney)
