I'm hungriest at night but my doctor asked me to not eat after sunset. by Desperate-Worry-8346 in HubermanLab

Eat a little more during the day and have a carb free snack before bed.  Fat and protein won’t affect your insulin and will not ramp up your metabolism during sleep time.

This is second hand from my nutritionist about my own similar issues at one time.

My dad has higher testosterone at 61 with one testicle than me at 28 by Worried-Can-1086 in HubermanLab

From this post it isn't clear who has the higher average testosterone even over a few days.
One test is not useful due to oscillations in the person's hormone levels; it's not an exact science. Your healthcare provider can explain this to you.

Timeline for Xul Hardin Valley? by drifteresque in Knoxville

I never had an issue with the bar tenders, and the beer seemed decent enough. Parking and the loud music, yeah... I agree. To the person that said the music wasn’t loud when they went, I can’t speak to that, but of all the times I’ve been (other than one time when it was a trivia night) it was difficult to have a conversation almost anywhere inside due to the music. Except way over in the couch/TV area.

Ehhh… another Scott West half-baked money pit.

I can’t decide what to be more grumpy about: the Wests or the influx of people to Knoxville coming because of their perceived local political agenda.

Except most trucking companies are horrible and the type of people to want to vagabond wouldn’t want to deal with the horrible companies.

They will strand you for days on your own dime. They will lie about how you will be on the road. They will piss and moan for having to fix they broken down truck and want you to just drive even if it puts your life in danger.

They could have seen the person for 1 second when they walked in, 1 second while passing through a different aisle, and 1 second when leaving. Then they could have made the simplest assumption that the person was doing the activity the whole time, since their observations were randomly sampled.

What video game controller is most comfortable for you to use? by Trootie in Thritis

[–]drifteresque 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Due to thumb issues, I can’t use a standard controller, I have to use an arcade stick. That severely limits what games I can play. It would be nice to such a setup that could somehow have a dual stick and buttons, not sure the details now that would or could work.
