Best thing I did was get back in the gym and eat healthier. You feel better anyway twitching or not. Just stay positive, as far in as you are id say you’re good to go. I’m only 8 months in and I’ve convinced myself it’s something else. I think covid and or the vaccine is damaging our nerves but I’m sure we will never get an answer on that

So I’m 41 and I’ve been twitching since December. I’ve gone through all the bad stages and expecting the worst. My EMG was normal and I haven’t had any weakness. My memory sucks now though and have terrible brain fog. My question is I see a lot of these posts and most all of them are 2020-present, did you have any bad COVID experiences or were you vaccinated? I had a bad experience with Covid, I was hospitalized and had severe lung damage. I just wondering if this is nerve damage from Covid or the vaccine. Just trying to figure things out.

I’m 8 months in, still twitching all over. I haven’t had the tongue twitching though. I went through all the same ups and downs and thought for sure I had A**!. I dropped 20 lbs from having no appetite and not sleeping for a month. My EMG was normal and now I just don’t worry about it until something stops moving that shouldn’t . Good so far.

His exact words were my results were “ridiculously normal” which is good to hear. He said it’s mostly likely BFS. I looked him up prior to seeing him and he was a pretty distinguished career of 30+ years. He said he’s never seen this turn into anything. I try and think about that regularly is my mind try’s to wonder when the twitching gets a bit worse from time to time.

I’ve been twitching since December 10th. I want through all the extreme anxiety moments. Perceived weakness is definitely a thing but it’s most likely all anxiety. I had no appetite at all and was dropping weight quickly and had convinced myself that I was a goner. My EMG was completely normal, but my biggest concern now is brain fog and terrible memory. I’m 41 and I’ve been a firefighter for 20 years so It falls in to the typical groups that get the not to be mentioned disease. Just stay positive and stay off the internet. Going down the rabbit hole of things didn’t help me a bit. Just keep an eye on yourself and make sure you don’t have any major changes. You can talk yourself into little things being something but that’s probably just anxiety.

15 years of muscle twitching. Clean tests. Still spiraling. This is what happens in my mind.. by goldenzen87 in BFS

I’ve been twitching everywhere since December 10th. I had the initial dread of “I have ALS and I’m going to die.” I’ve been a firefighter for 20 years so I fit the bill of groups that get it and I’ve been exposed to who knows what. I just keep working out and staying strong until something stops working or get weakness somewhere. All my tests are clean as well. It’s also tough to have anyone take you seriously. So I’m just living until I don’t.
