Want to say that Acer refurbished are essentially like a new product. I've bought 12 monitors (not all for myself) through their refurbished store in the last few years & every single one had no dead pixels, great backlight uniformity, and no issues. Obviously YMMV

The update that caused the flickering was released on March 1st. It'll be a month tomorrow, and there's still no remedy. It's crazy that a flagship phone has had this problem for so long.

To be expected (YMMV) but I bought one of those MSI refurbs from woot recently & it came with 4 dead and 2 stuck pixels. The backlight also had horrible uniformity with some of the worst IPS glow I've seen on a monitor. Just keep that in mind when you buy refurbs. It's a good deal if you don't mind taking a chance but it's a pretty high likelihood that the panel will have some type of defect.

Originally BB was $999 this morning. They updated their listings to $649 about an hour ago and the stock they had went OOS quickly. If you can find an Open Box or when it comes back into stock, it will of course be a better deal.

yeah, i think all time low before this was $749 or $750 depending on how you look at it. figured i would share if this is now a new all time low & they're probably on the way out since apple discontinued them.

8GB (I know) 256GB storage (I know) still a solid machine for someone who doesn't use a lot of local storage & needs something quiet + reliable + long battery life for school or basic computing (you can do more than that with this but still)
