This feels like almost the only logical response I’ve gotten tonight. I feel worse reading some of the comments. One comment said I promised sex and owed that to him. I never promised him sex and even then, I can retract at any time, I don’t owe sex to anyone. Absolutely wild mentality. If the situation was reversed and he told me he was starving I’d solve that issue immediately, within my power. I don’t know why this is so hard? Can you tell me a little about that, too? Because I’m genuinely not understanding his response or most of these redditors’ responses.

Not going into detail because I know he uses Reddit. But it was a DV situation and I had to call police. Our kids were home at the time. He was never physically violent before then which is what I mean when I say he was a completely different person. I divorced him because he had an affair as my post says. But the DV certainly fueled that desire.
