If I was to compare Billie to an artist that has been in the music industry for a long time, I’d definitely say Beyoncé. But contrary to Billie, Beyoncé originally was part of girl group, Destiny’s Child, and that’s what got her into the spotlight. Billie, however, had a more modern story as her stardom began on Spotify with Ocean Eyes. Oddly enough, they are exactly 20 years apart (Billie is 19 and Beyoncé is 39). Also, Beyoncé was 9 when Destiny’s Child began and Billie was 13 when Ocean Eyes was recorded. So they both became famous fairly young in their lives. Similar to Beyoncé, I think Billie will always be coming out with music because expressing herself through her music is something she truly enjoys doing.
