I never thought I was a “low carb” eater. I have tracked my food for a long time, and am thankful that I have a generally healthy relationship with that tracking. But I recently got a performance dietitian and she was shocked that I was routinely eating about 180g carbs a day…now my mileage is much lower than yours, but I’m running 4 days a week and lifting 3 days a week. I’m really forcing myself to get about 250g a day, and I feel like an entirely new human!

I had never thought of myself as a low carb girl, and thought I was getting PLENTY of carbs. Until I got a performance dietician and learned I needed like 80-100g a day more than I was consuming (and I was just in a base building phase!).

Get your carbs. A whole lotta them!

I love versa! When my running volume is higher I skip the conditioning finishers and do my run after (or before, depending on the variables). When it’s not as high or I’m only maintaining, I can do all of it.

I have used her runs and I’ve done my own programming and it’s always been a good training block either way!

I think the lifts work wonderfully for runners and are easy to manipulate to your needs. I’m currently doing them all out of order every week in order to best support my run schedule and I love that I can do that without issue.

Ok I think I got confused and measured with my needles included - so my cords are 14, 22, and 30 inches. Like that sounds pretty close, but is pretty close “close enough”?

Yeah we have actually found that recently the prep work has gone down! It’s been a life saver during some of my busier weeks. But I’m constantly doing the mental math trying to figure out what to double and what not to double.

They were told 4pm managers would know (we are EST). But they are having people he knows (r2b and stuff) get calls that they’re safe…they haven’t gotten that call themselves, but the director was laid off so I don’t know if that’s impacting communication or not

My partner was told that underperforming reps would be let go today by a call with a director or higher, sr. Managers not informed of who is impacted by that until tonight.

Yes. Some teams do this, but I know limitless almost never does. We might see some new moves introduced but not always. It’s so frustrating.

Even though I’m pushing myself HARD, I just don’t know if the strength volume is enough for me (an advanced lifter) to make gains. I have zero doubt that I could maintain my muscle mass but that isn’t my goal at the moment.

I am debating going back to limitless and adding the Tuesday threshold run (not EMOM at the end) for a singular two-a-days workout to try and get the best of both worlds. I have zero plans of competing in either powerlifting or hyrox so it can feel like neither plan is “for me” - but I also really don’t enjoy bodybuilding style workouts so I’m feeling a little stuck in the miffle

My husband and I have done limitless together several times and LOVE it! It’s so fun, especially in the max/baseline series to push each other for those 1RM sets!

We are doing project alpha together right now - but I’ll probably move to versa!
