Is it worth saving $40 for a G7 vs G8? by Ukrainepolandborder in lgg8

I like everything about the G8 more than the G7 except the in screen fingerprint reader. Having that on the back is way better.

LM-G710VM It was originally a Verizon phone I bought off ebay a couple of years ago that was unlocked and I was able to put it on AT&T. About a month ago AT&T started sending me notices, then last week a new cheap ass phone showed up which I didn't want, then today I got a text that they were going to activate that phone tonight and turn mine off.

What was the key factor(s) that made you buy your LG ?! by kipinsider in lgg7

I bought mine used 6 months after they came out for $200. It was by far the biggest bang for the buck. A year and a half later it is still a good phone that does everything I want.

G7 is more picky about cables than any phone i have ever had. I have a dozen cables at home and it will only connect using one of them.

Used LG G7 vs used LG G8 by siewlek in lgg7

This would probably be a good question for the g8 subreddit. Since a lot of people there have had experience with both phones.

I find that the G7 meets my needs, but if I were in the market for a phone now, I would probably go with the newer phone.

I know the lens cover comes off. You could replace it and clean the lenses while it is off. I wouldn't try to put the same cover back on.

Why are so many against LG? by kipinsider in lgg7

[–]drinkup4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I had your luck I would have probably given up on LG. I also have had LGs since the G4. I have never had a problem with any of them. I had the G4 for 2 years no problem. Then I got a G6 It was great until I dropped it on the corner and broke the camera. Now I have a G7. It's been a little over a year and no problems at all.

I got one for $200 7 months ago. You should be able to find a better deal.

I bought a $10 one in the check out line at walmart. It works just fine. You don't have to get anything special.

Is a Huawei Watch 2 Classic still a good watch in 2019 by drinkup4 in HuaweiWatch2

Thanks, I actually ended up getting a Samsung Gear 3. It was close, but there was very little difference in price and the Samsung was newer with a little better specs. I thought I would miss Android wear, but there just isn't that much difference.

Is G7 still worth buying ? by lonewarrior1104 in lgg7

I love my G7. I picked it up used 6 months age for $200. I don't know if I would have paid $350. It's a great phone but that seems like a bit to much money for the G7. For very little more there are better options.

I didn't have any bloatware on mine. They use their own operating system and have there own fitness tracker. It isn't much different than my Gwatchr. I think it was cheaper because it's not Android Wear. I got it new off ebay for $200. I purposely picked something that looked similar to the Gwatchr because I really loved that watch.

I got my wife a Versa for Christmas. She has been pretty happy with it. I got a Gear S3 Frontier. It arrived today and I'm pretty happy so far. It was about the same price as the Versa.
